Journey
Khid Freddie, born Godwin Alfred Anindah, is a Nigerian artist whose journey in music began in his teens and officially gained momentum in 2019. Growing up in Jengre, Plateau State, he was drawn to rhythm and storytelling, which inspired him to start crafting his own tracks early on. His debut single, "Trap In Luv" featuring Chucksman, released in November 2019, quickly made waves, climbing to number six on the Liberian June Mixtape Awards chart and signaling his emergence on a larger stage.
His music spans rap, hip-hop, and trap, with each track offering a glimpse into his experiences and mindset. Songs like "Help Me," "Tell Mama," and "Like D Way" demonstrate his ability to navigate different emotions and perspectives through sound.
As his career has progressed, Khid Freddie has expanded his approach, bringing in diverse influences and collaborations that highlight his adaptability. The self-produced 2025 release "THERAPIANO" featuring EB Rhymmers introduces amapiano energy to his style, merging laid-back rhythms with expressive storytelling.
Beyond singing, Khid Freddie is also a cinematographer and playlist curator. He has cited a wide range of musical influences, from global stars like Nasty C, NF, Major Lazer, Nektunez, Marshmello to Nigerian icons like Psycho YP, ODUMODUBLVCK, BlaqBonez, and Rema
Khid Freddie remains committed to evolving as an artist, transforming personal narratives into music that resonates across borders.
